Training Principle
“The significant problems we face (today) cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them.” (Albert Einstein, 1879 — 1955)
Training Method
“Treat a man as he is, and he will remain as he is; treat a man as he can and should be, and he will become as he can and should be.” (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, 1749 — 1832)
Goal
“. . .different (better, more effective) results.” “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” (Albert Einstein, 1879 — 1955)
Perspective on the Future of Construction
LEAN is the future of Construction. LEAN is the absence of waste, and waste is anything that consumes resources, and adds no value, as defined or determined by the customer, and for which the customer should not have to pay. In order for contractors to build all projects, especially GREEN projects, competitively, effectively and profitably, they must acquire a basic understanding of LEAN principles and concepts. With this knowledge and its proper application, contractors will survive and prosper, now and in the future. Without this, contractors will struggle to be competitive.
